How it all started
Mountain Quests was founded in 2011 by Matt Farr and Nima Lama to address the needs of adventure-seekers by providing trekking, mountaineering, white water and mountain-biking consultation and tours in the Nepal and Indian Himalayas.
The company soon started working with schools and corporates on a range of adventure and service-learning experiences and has grown a strong and loyal client base who work with us on an ongoing basis.
Where we now stand
We have now expanded operations to include adventure and service opportunities in Laos, Thailand, Malaysia and the African countries of Rwanda and Uganda, in addition to select locations in the Middle East, with unique trips that we are very proud of.
Our key clients are schools and corporations, but we also work with families and individuals to guide them on truly unique and life-enhancing experiences.

Health and safety
Regardless of where you travel with us and the experience you have, our commitment to your wellbeing is always number one on our list of priorities. All of our experiences have been risk-assessed, with customized operating and emergency procedures put in place.
In addition, all of our guides are first aid trained to a high standard, and to a standard that matches the area and experiences you will be engaging with.
We take your health, dietary requirements, allergies and other health conditions very seriously, and will consult with you on any specific needs and requirements you may have.
Working with students
Having worked with schools for almost a decade, we know what it takes to safeguard student health & wellbeing.
Although nothing in life can be considered risk-free, our risk assessments ensure that we put strict procedures in place to manage physical and environmental hazards, as well as protection of minors from any other forms of harm.
These same strict measures are implemented in our corporate, individual & family experiences.
